I explained it to you, it is a FACT, not up for debate. It seems more like a bug, but the new patch should address this and the critical chance modifier rune that just says '0 attack power.
If I salvage the rune my very nice sword will be gone and if I remove upgrade I lose the rune. Very disappointing because there is no fun in stunned monsters. I went to kill a lvl 24 Ekkimara I'm lvl 17 and it just stood there stunned until I had emptied its health bar.
